Engineering Order Processing Technician

Role The Engineering Order Processing Technician will be added to an existing Engineering Team with an established Engineering System. Mechanical acumen beneficial. Understanding of how things fit together necessary. Role would require order processing in which the candidate would take information from Sales Team and create the manufacturing documents. Typical documents include technical drawings, checklists, inspection forms and procedures. Will require some parts design or modifications using Solid Works. The Right Candidate The right candidate should have good problem-solving skills and be able to learn to process new orders for things we may not have made before. Candidate should be able to evaluate the information provided, understand what is being asked for, become familiar with templates we have available, modify those templates or conceptualize and design the product, using those templates as a base, to meet the customer's needs. Attention to detail, accuracy and completeness are critically important in this role. Candidate must be able to read through formal and informal documents and be able to pick out the applicable information. Candidate must also have good communication skills, able to clearly communicate information in person, through email, or other digital messaging. Communications should be clear, accurate, complete and actionable. XSOF is

registered, so documentation and detail are important. Candidate will need to follow established processes for creating, revising and managing documentation, including processing Engineering Change Orders. Desired Skills & Experience Experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Solidworks at least to the extent of;- Part modelling & creating assemblies,
- Basic Tolerancing GD&T and analysis,
- Creating Drawings suitable for machinists to fabricate the parts.
