Salary + Benefits Position Summary We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management services to individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and co occurring conditions. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative, patient centered environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric assessments, obtain health histories, and establish diagnoses and treatment plans Provide psychiatric treatment and ongoing medication management Monitor patient functioning, medication effectiveness, treatment response, and compliance Evaluate complex mental, emotional, behavioral, and physical health needs Develop individualized service plans incorporating medication management and other interventions Prescribe and administer medications in accordance with Board of Medicine and Board of Nursing regulations Provide patient education and recommend additional clinical or community based services as appropriate Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective care Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and departmental procedures Required Qualifications Virginia Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license Master's degree in Nursing Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a
PMHNP DEA
