The Process Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining ISO compliant plastic injection molding process standards for both production and development. You will work with all levels of the organization to develop and manage injection molding processes including, mold setting, process development and execution, material handling procedures, troubleshooting, and statistical analysis. Must have leadership skills that are consistent and decisive while maintaining a mentoring/coaching environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Be a liaison between manufacturing and engineering Responsible for training of technical resources Use Lean/Six Sigma methodologies for process development and problem solving Maintain associated metrics for respective area Responsible for optimizing cycle times, reducing scrap, and reducing downtime Participate on teams that require technical expertise Responsible for creating and maintaining associated department procedures Maintain a high level of professionalism Monitor processes and ensure accurate execution of defined processes Responsible for level of quality produced by the department Promote a high level of communication between departments to execute customer orders Promote and participate actively in continuous improvement Develop growth and development plans for personnel Maintain working relationships with other department managers and personnel Assess equipment and personnel requirements for department and make/ implement necessary changes Perform other tasks as directed by manager Overtime is required Some travel may be required on occasion To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
