The Process Engineering Technician is responsible for trouble shooting and optimization of automated injection-molding cells to mold parts and components in compliance with customer specifications. Program, monitor and trouble shoot production cells consisting of injection molding presses, robots, dosing pumps and related equipment.Essential Job Responsibilities Injection Molding Operations:
Program, monitor and troubleshoot injection molding cells and take steps necessary to ensure efficient good quality runs. Work to maintain safety, reduce downtime, and decrease scrap/non-conformities.Optimization:
Systematic root cause analysis for machine downtime and product defects and definition of actions to improve performance. Monitoring progress and efficacy in implementing actions, update instructions and report completion of optimization activities. Monitor process and record process changes and occurrences in the relevant systems.Quality Assurance:
Identify cause of defects and assist Quality Assurance team and Head of Production with the implementation of solutions.Work environment:
Adhere to cleanliness standards and product safety guidelines, including machine cleaning assignments. Maintain a safe work environment by assuring conformance to policies and good practices. Address safety issues immediately- people, equipment or work area. Additional Job Responsibilities Train new team members. Stay abreast of emerging technology and processes.
