JOB DESCRIPTION
Process Engineer-Entry Level General Summary:
We are seeking a recent engineering graduate to develop into a PCB manufacturing Process Engineer. This is an entry-level position designed for someone with strong technical aptitude, curiosity, and a hands-on approach to problem solving. Previous PCB experience is not required. The first 3-6 months will focus heavily on learning PCB manufacturing processes while developing practical engineering, troubleshooting, and process-control skills. Key Responsibilities- Learn PCB manufacturing processes through structured training and hands-on experience on the production floor.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and assist with troubleshooting process and equipment problems.
- Collect and analyze process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing defects.
- Assist with process development, qualification, validation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain process specifications, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
- Support SPC, process capability studies, DOE, FMEA, and other engineering tools as experience develops.
- Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and other engineering personnel.
- Gradually assume ownership of assigned manufacturing processes. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 1 year of professional experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
- Ability and desire to learn complex manufacturing processes.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- PCB or electronics manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
