Fermentation Process Engineering Manager DSJ Global - 4.0 Omaha, NE Job Details $140,000 - $180,000 a year 3 hours ago Qualifications Production troubleshooting Full Job Description A leading manufacturer in the biotechnology, specialty ingredients, and process manufacturing space is seeking a Fermentation Process Engineering Manager to lead fermentation operations, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across a large-scale production environment. This role will partner closely with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and R D to improve manufacturing performance, support scale-up activities, and drive operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead fermentation process optimization and performance improvement initiatives. Drive increases in yield, throughput, reliability, and product quality. Support new product introductions, process scale-up, and commercialization activities. Collaborate with plant leadership to troubleshoot process issues and implement sustainable solutions. Lead continuous improvement projects and capital investments. Develop and mentor engineering and technical personnel. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field. 7+ years of experience supporting fermentation, bioprocessing, food & beverage, ingredients, specialty chemicals, industrial biotechnology, or related manufacturing operations. Experience with large-scale continuous or batch manufacturing processes. Strong background in process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Previous leadership experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
