Process Development Engineer - Team Lead Dayton, OH | Full-Time | On-Site $100,000 - $120,000 + 8% Annual Bonus A global specialty chemicals company with nearly a century of innovation is growing its Ohio R D operation. This is a hands-on team lead role sitting at the intersection of R D and manufacturing, focused on turning new adhesive, sealant, and coating formulations into scalable, production-ready processes. You will lead a team of 3 engineers and technicians while staying actively involved in day-to-day process development and troubleshooting. What You Will Do Scale manufacturing processes from lab to pilot to production Troubleshoot mixing, dispensing, and handling of complex materials Lead and mentor a small process development team Collaborate across R D, manufacturing, and quality Drive efficiency, cost, and process robustness improvements What You Bring Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or related field 3 to 8 years in process development, scale-up, or manufacturing support Experience with complex materials (polymers, filled systems, pastes, or slurries) Strong problem-solving skills and interest in developing others Compensation and Benefits $100,000 - $130,000 base salary 8% annual bonus Heavily company-subsidized health insurance with very low employee cost Stable, growing organization with a long track record of investment in its Ohio operations
