Job Description

Lead new product introduction, CAD design, tooling development, process optimization, and production launch activities within a manufacturing environment. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. Experience with SolidWorks CAD. Experience creating drawings for customer parts. Experience specifying and ordering tooling. Experience with process improvement. Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC). Technical writing experience. Experience translating customer requirements into manufacturing specifications. Experience supporting new product introduction or process optimization activities. Experience developing manufacturing documentation such as setup sheets, work instructions, and control plans. Stable employment history. Preferred Skills Experience in manufacturing, textile, nonwoven, or automotive environments. Experience with new product development and launch. Experience with tooling development. Experience supporting pre-production builds. Experience working with R D teams. Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Experience with production trials, testing, and validation. Experience improving throughput, yield, quality, and manufacturing efficiency. Job Responsibilities Lead new product introductions from quotation through full production launch. Develop CAD designs, customer part drawings, and tooling specifications. Define and document customer and manufacturing requirements. Set up raw materials and support progression through pre-production builds. Coordinate tooling and pre-production part development. Track project milestones, launch readiness, and production timelines. Coordinate machinery installation and program launch activities. Support R D activities related to new products and manufacturing processes. Develop and maintain setup sheets, work instructions, and control plans. Apply SPC methods to monitor process variation and product quality. Identify quality trends and implement process improvements. Lead corrective action and root cause analysis activities. Improve production throughput, yield, quality, maintenance effectiveness, and process efficiency. Support product trials, testing, and validation activities. Define and monitor critical product and process characteristics. Coordinate technical requirements between customers and manufacturing operations.
Pay:
