Summary:

Leads new product introductions, develops manufacturing specifications and tooling requirements, and drives process improvement from quotation through full production launch. Job Requirements BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience Technical writing experience Customer-facing communication experience Stable job history Preferred Skills CAD experience, including customer part drawing and tooling support Manufacturing experience Textile experience Nonwoven experience Automotive industry experience New product introduction experience Process optimization experience Job Responsibilities Lead new product introductions from quote through full production launch Develop customer requirements, CAD designs, and tooling specifications Serve as project gatekeeper for progress tracking and timeline management Coordinate machinery installation and program launches Improve throughput, yield, and quality across production lines Develop and maintain setup sheets, work instructions, and control plans Identify and respond to quality trends and process variation Lead corrective actions and root cause analysis efforts Translate customer requirements into manufacturing specifications Serve as primary liaison between customers and the plant Support product trials, testing, and validation efforts Define and monitor critical product and process characteristics
