Job Description
Process Engineer Co-Op
- Fall Printpack United States, Virginia, port s 270 Pickett's Line (Show on map) Aug 25, 2026 Process Engineer Co-Ops help support daily operations and product development.
- Support daily operations and product development activities
- Perform process definition (PD) audits, file PDs, and consult with specialists and engineers on updates as needed
- Support troubleshooting efforts by participating in root cause analysis exercises, assisting in trials, measuring samples, and analyzing data
- Participate in continuous improvement projects pertaining to safety, scrap reduction, and increased productivity
- Support project development by brainstorming ideas, creating drawings, obtaining quotes from machine shops, and testing prototypes
- Work with product development on design reviews by cross-referencing dimensions, collecting and analyzing data, and providing feedback on process improvements
- Help implement new quality tests including designing fixtures, gauges, and completing Gauge R&Rs
- Support training efforts by creating Job Breakdowns and One Point Lessons for manufacturing associates Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree program
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Time management skills Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering
- Experience with statistical analysis and data collection
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Previous internship or co-op experience in manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
