) Project Engineers are at the center of project execution. You'll gain exposure to every stage of the construction process-from preconstruction planning and procurement to field operations and project closeout. You'll work alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, clients, and design teams while learning how successful projects are delivered. WHAT YOU'LL DO

IMPACT YOU'LL HAVE
) This role serves as a critical link between the office, field, and client, helping ensure projects stay organized, informed, and moving forward. Project Coordination & Execution
- Support Project Managers and Superintendents in the successful execution of commercial construction projects
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, procurement, and documentation activities
- Help coordinate project communications between clients, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and project teams
- Participate in project meetings, planning sessions, and progress reviews
- Assist with project closeout activities and turnover documentation Financial & Operational Support
- Assist with tracking change orders, material procurement, and project costs
- Support invoice review and project cost management efforts
- Help monitor project budgets, labor costs, and schedule performance
- Assist with maintaining project records and reporting requirements
- Support internal controls designed to reduce financial, legal, safety, and operational risk Field Leadership & Client Support
- Serve as a professional representative of Cornerstone both in the office and on project sites
- Help maintain strong relationships with clients, design partners, subcontractors, and field personnel
- Assist in identifying project challenges and developing practical solutions
- Support quality control efforts and help ensure issues are addressed promptly

WHAT YOU BRING
We're looking for individuals who are organized, motivated, and eager to learn.
- 3 years of construction experience
- 2 years of Project Engineering experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Bonus if You Have
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- 3+ years of Project Engineering experience
- 5+ years of construction experience
- Vertical commercial construction experience
- Experience working with construction management software and project documentation systems Compensation
- Competitive salary. $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience and capability
