Full Job Description Description:
About ACT Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) is a leading provider of advanced thermal management and composite solutions for aerospace, defense, data centers, energy, and industrial applications. For more than 20 years, we have engineered and manufactured innovative technologies that solve complex challenges in demanding environments. Our success is built on innovation, teamwork, and close collaboration with our customers—and on talented people who enjoy turning challenging ideas into real-world solutions. Manufacturing Engineer - Satellite Structures Join ACT and help build advanced composite structures for the next generation of satellite and space applications. We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Satellite Structures to take ownership of complex composite manufacturing projects from planning through delivery. In this highly collaborative role, you will work directly with customers and alongside engineering, production, quality, tooling, and materials teams to translate technical requirements into successful hardware. This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer who enjoys being close to the product and the manufacturing process—not just working behind a desk. You'll balance technical problem-solving, project leadership, and customer interaction in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and every program presents a new challenge. What You'll Do Lead the execution of complex composite manufacturing projects, managing schedules, resources, priorities, and deliverables. Drive programs from initial planning through production and final delivery, ensuring customer, technical, schedule, quality, and budget requirements are achieved. Serve as a key technical and program interface with customers, providing regular communication and helping resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle. Partner closely with production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, improve processes, and keep programs moving forward. Collaborate across design engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, tooling, and materials to support successful program execution. Apply engineering judgment and critical thinking to identify risks, solve problems, and develop practical solutions. Support design for manufacturability (DFM), prototype hardware fabrication, testing, and process development. Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, repeatability, quality, and overall program performance. What We're Looking For We're looking for a hands-on, adaptable engineer who enjoys taking ownership and working across disciplines. The strongest candidates will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating directly with customers, and solving technical challenges in a manufacturing environment. Experience with composite manufacturing, aerospace or satellite structures, DFM, tooling, prototype fabrication, or hardware testing is especially valuable.
