As an Assistant Engineer , you will: Assist with engineering and drafting activities for civil engineering projects. Apply established engineering principles, standards, and procedures to assigned work. Prepare and revise drawings, plans, and project documentation using CADD software. Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables. Support project teams by researching and evaluating engineering alternatives. Collaborate with senior engineers to develop technical knowledge and project experience. Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities. Maintain project documentation and meet established deadlines. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university. Strong understanding of engineering principles, mathematics, and design concepts. Experience using CADD and standard engineering software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Basic understanding of engineering drawings, graphics standards, and technical documentation. Knowledge of QA/QC processes and attention to detail. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or successful completion of the FE/EIT examination. Internship, co-op, or academic project experience related to civil engineering. Familiarity with industry design standards and engineering best practices.
Pay Rate:
$65,000 - $75,000 annually Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should
