We are seeking a technically curious and growth-oriented Controls Estimator & Project Engineer to support our expanding controls business. This role is central to driving revenue growth by increasing estimating capacity, supporting project capture, and developing into a seller-doer capable of engineering, managing, and eventually selling controls projects. Key Responsibilities Support estimating and take-offs for building automation (Automated Logic, ABB Controls). Assist senior engineers in developing pricing, scope narratives, and bid strategies. Participate in engineering, submittals, and execution on awarded projects. Support project coordination, customer communication, and field execution efforts. Develop working knowledge of controls systems, construction documents, and customer requirements. Progressively assume responsibility for project ownership and customer-facing coordination. Performs dual roles as a Controls Estimator and Project Engineer, with a defined growth path into project management for multiple divisions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field. Background in automation, controls, electrical systems, or industrial environments. Ability to read electrical drawings and construction documents. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Location:

Southern California (Orange County based) Compensation & Total Rewards $110,000-$25,000 Competitive base salary with growth-based incentive opportunities.
