Full-time, On-site Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Project Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to support the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects. This role will work closely with project managers, clients, contractors, and other project team members to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable specifications and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or structural engineering, construction, project coordination, and field inspections, along with strong analytical and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects. Perform engineering calculations and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed field inspection reports. Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or deficiencies. Prepare and review engineering submittals for compliance with project specifications. Review project documentation, drawings, reports, and correspondence. Work with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to resolve technical and project-related issues. Assist with coordinating project activities and ensuring deadlines are met. Apply engineering principles and construction knowledge to support successful project delivery. Travel to project sites throughout California as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field . Active California PE license ; candidates holding a PE license in another U.S. state may also be considered. Previous experience in civil/structural engineering, construction, inspections, or a related engineering environment . Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methods. Experience with engineering calculations, technical documentation, and project coordination. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with project teams. Willingness to travel to project sites throughout California. Work Environment Full-time, on-site position based in Pleasanton, California.
