KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Civil Structural Engineer near
Rancho Cucamonga, Ca, Position Summary:
The Civil / Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing aboveground steel storage tanks for water, oil, and other liquid storage applications in accordance with applicable building codes and industry standards. Projects will include tank structures, concrete foundations, platforms, walkways, stairways, baffle systems, and related components.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and analyze aboveground steel storage tanks and related structures Prepare engineering calculations and supporting documentation Research building code and jurisdictional requirements Interpret customer specifications, plans, and drawings Collaborate with sales, engineering, drafting teams, and customers Support projects through design, fabrication, and installation Manage multiple projects simultaneously Participate in research and development initiatives
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering Minimum 7 years of structural engineering experience Professional Engineer (PE) License required Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design Experience with bulk storage silos and tank design highly preferred Experience with industrial structures and infrastructure preferred Strong communication, organization, and project management skills Compensation depends on experience but is typically 100-150k
