Permanent Job Summary:
We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join an established materials testing firm. This position offers an opportunity to take on a senior leadership role and manage the geotechnical side of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support the Geotechnical Engineering side of the business. Perform and oversee geotechnical and subsurface investigations. Conduct site geological mapping and field evaluations. Perform site inspections and evaluate soil/geotechnical conditions. Prepare and review geotechnical engineering reports. Review technical reports and engineering work completed by staff. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Licensed Geotechnical or Civil Engineer with emphasis on soils/geotechnical engineering. 3-5+ years of geological and/or geotechnical engineering experience. Experience with site geological mapping. Strong experience with geotechnical investigations. Experience preparing and reviewing technical/geotechnical reports. Perform and support site inspections. Manage the Geotechnical side of the business.
