Permanent Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in geological and geotechnical engineering, site investigations, geological mapping, technical report preparation, and managing the geotechnical side of the business while providing technical guidance to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the geotechnical engineering side of the business. Perform site geological mapping and geotechnical investigations. Prepare and review technical geotechnical reports. Conduct site inspections and provide engineering recommendations. Review staff reports and provide technical oversight and guidance. Support project planning, execution, and client coordination. Ensure geotechnical projects are completed in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Licensed Geotechnical or Civil Engineer with an emphasis on soils/geotechnical engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience working on geological and/or geotechnical engineering projects. Experience with site geological mapping and geotechnical investigations. Strong experience preparing technical geotechnical reports. Experience managing geotechnical engineering activities and reviewing staff reports. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and perform site inspections in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
