JOB SUMMARY
The Project Engineer is responsible for reading and understanding the construction design documents and specifications, ability to perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work, overall trade management and coordination.
SALARY RANGE
$90,000 - $110,000 annually
BENEFITS

You are immediately 100% vested in all contributions (including BNB match). We provide both traditional (pre-tax) and Roth (post-tax) contribution options. We are proud to be an employee-owned company. This means you get an ownership stake in BNB through a benefit called an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). It's 100% company-funded and is invested in BNBuilders stock. You can participate in this long-term plan after you complete 1 year of service (with at least 1,000 hours).
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
Coordinate with project architects, designers, owners, and field personnel. Responsible for generating Request for Information (RFI) and submittals. Manage project subcontractors. Act as the information hub to ensure continuity of work. Offer technical information to project supervisor to ensure work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications. May coordinate change orders, expedite material and job site equipment, assist in preparation of estimates, and compile data to assist in analyzing project progress. Monitor and track project quality control metrics and activities on a regular basis; provide timely and accurate quality reports, and raise issues to Project Manager or Superintendent, as appropriate. Inspect all work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate or pending graduate of a four-year degree program in Engineering or Construction Management. Minimum 1 year of experience having worked for a General Contractor Full knowledge of computer software, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of Autocad or Revit a plus. Broad knowledge of LEAN and BIM techniques. Experience with BIM is a plus. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Good oral and written communication skills.
