Position Summary The Project Engineer plays a key role in delivering electrical construction projects, by supporting engineering and technical activities from concept through completion. They plan, schedule, forecast, resource, and manage project execution to ensure quality, accuracy, and successful outcomes construction projects. Through collaboration, innovation, and proactive problem-solving, they drive continuous improvement and contribute to the successful delivery of highly coordinated electrical systems. What You'll Do Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Ingenuity Demonstrate craftsmanship and attention to detail by thoroughly analyzing and interpreting construction drawings to ensure a complete understanding of project scope. Assist in reviewing plans and specifications, developing detailed checklists that highlight contractual and technical items requiring ongoing attention, and supporting integrity and accountability from the outset. Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams to contribute to cost estimates and schedule development, applying ingenuity and analytical thinking to support well-coordinated project planning. Project Progress & Craftsmanship Prepare clear, accurate statements of work, submittals, and change management documentation, promoting transparent communication and trust across project stakeholders. Inspect equipment, materials, workmanship, and completed construction with a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and quality, ensuring full compliance with project specifications. Maintain precise and organized project records to track progress, changes, and compliance. Safety Leadership Champion a safety‑first culture, modeling behaviors that protect people, projects, and communities. Actively promote and ensure compliance with all safety regulations, standards, and best practices, reflecting our unwavering commitment to safety and care for others. Monitor ongoing work to verify that materials, methods, and installations align with safety requirements and approved specifications. Industry Engagement & Relationships Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the company with professionalism, integrity, and ethical leadership in all interactions. Build and strengthen relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and industry partners, fostering long‑term collaboration and trust. What You'll Bring Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong capability in due diligence and risk assessment, supporting sound decision‑making and project integrity. Impeccable ethics and professionalism with internal teams and external partners. Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical information to diverse audiences. Willingness to travel frequently to construction sites to stay engaged, visible, and connected to project teams. Demonstrated Accomplishments Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Bluebeam, and Accubid. Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Solid understanding of electrical construction in commercial and/or industrial environments. Experience building productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to stay informed of industry and market trends. Thorough knowledge of safety standards and best practices in electrical construction. Education & Experience Demonstrated hands‑on experience with commercial construction projects Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred or an equivalent combinations of education and experience. •Due to federal government contract requirements associated with this position, applicants must be U.S. citizens and must be eligible to satisfy all applicable government security and compliance requirements.•
