$90,000-$110,000 + Benefits + Vehicle + 401(k) Match + Bonus + PTO A well-established general contractor in the Englewood market is looking to add a Project Engineer to its team. This is a strong opportunity for a construction professional who wants hands-on exposure to all phases of the project lifecycle while working alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents. The Project Engineer will support projects from preconstruction through closeout, with responsibilities spanning project documentation, subcontractor coordination, material tracking, scheduling, quality control, and field support. Projects include municipal, school, commercial, and related work, with a preference for candidates with ground-up project experience. Benefits and Highlights Compensation of $90K-$110K, based on experience, plus a vehicle and 401(k) match (4%) 100% employer-paid medical benefits for employee, dependents, and family Strong career growth and development opportunities Exposure to both office and field operations Collaborative team environment with experienced construction professionals Opportunity to gain experience across preconstruction, project management, and field execution Responsibilities Support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout all phases of construction Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for potential conflicts and constructability issues Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and closeout materials Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to keep projects moving on schedule Track material procurement, deliveries, schedules, and other critical project milestones Assist with subcontractor buyout, quality control, safety initiatives, and general project coordination Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred Previous construction experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or similar role preferred Ground-up project experience preferred Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation Experience working with a General Contractor is strongly preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project preferredBenefits
