Build your future with a hands-on engineering role supporting day-to-day building operations in Aventura, FL. As a Building Engineer , you'll help ensure reliable performance of building systems while contributing to an on-call schedule that keeps you engaged and growing. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Building Engineer position include: Senior level position Ability to work fully on-site and provide on-call coverage. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills. Support the day-to-day engineering needs of the building. Respond to building and operational issues as needed. Participate in an on-call rotation or schedule. Work overtime when required. Managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, fire-safety systems, and building controls Supervising maintenance engineers, technicians, contractors, and vendors Scheduling preventive maintenance and responding to emergencies or equipment failures Monitoring energy use and improving efficiency Managing repair and maintenance budgets, supplies, and service contracts Coordinating inspections, permits, safety programs, and regulatory compliance Planning equipment replacements and larger capital projects Communicating with property managers, owners, tenants, and security teams
Salary:
$110K-$140K per year, commensurate with experience.
