Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills. Support the day-to-day engineering needs of the building. Respond to building and operational issues as needed. Participate in an on-call rotation or schedule. Work overtime when required. Managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, fire-safety systems, and building controls Supervising maintenance engineers, technicians, contractors, and vendors Scheduling preventive maintenance and responding to emergencies or equipment failures Monitoring energy use and improving efficiency Managing repair and maintenance budgets, supplies, and service contracts Coordinating inspections, permits, safety programs, and regulatory compliance Planning equipment replacements and larger capital projects Communicating with property managers, owners, tenants, and security teams
