Structural Engineer (Central Palm Beach County)We are a very busy and growing structural engineering firm looking for an experienced Structural Engineer with AutoCAD experience for a full time position. Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the structural design of commercial and residential structures. You will work directly under several Professional Engineers with over 30 years of industry experience. Structural Engineering and AutoCAD with the following capabilities of:1. AutoCAD proficiency and experience in structural design of residential and commercial buildings. Knowledge of load paths, uplift requirements, beam and column analysis, and individual member design a must. Post tension experience a plus.2. Ability to coordinate construction documents and to prepare preliminary designs including calculations.3. Experience in submission of drawings to municipalities and responding to their comments4. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff in both written and oral methods.5. Ability to perform some field inspections when required.6. MS Word, Excel, Math

CAD, IES

Visual Analysis, and/or other engineering software required.40 hrs per week minimum with the ability to be flexible to meet deadlines.
