Job Description
Project Engineer Naples, FL | $95,000 to $120,000 + Bonus A leading heavy civil contractor is hiring a Project Engineer for an active FDOT roadway project in the Naples, FL area. This is a direct hire opportunity supporting field engineering, documentation, and coordination on an established roadway project with a strong backlog of upcoming work. Schedule Full time, onsite in Naples, FL. Compensation $95,000 to $120,000 base salary, plus bonus. What You'll Do This role manages RFIs and submittals, keeping information moving between designers, the owner, and subcontractors. The Project Engineer supports the Superintendent in the field on material tracking, subcontractor scheduling, and daily sequencing, and helps track quantities, pay estimates, and project costs. Additional responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications to catch conflicts and constructability issues early, maintaining documentation and daily reports aligned to FDOT standards, and supporting scheduling, look ahead planning, and change order documentation. Required Qualifications 2+ years of project or field engineering experience in heavy civil or heavy highway construction Heavy civil or FDOT roadway background, or comparable DOT roadway experience Working knowledge of RFIs, submittals, and field coordination Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent field experience Ability to read civil construction plans and specifications Preferred Qualifications Direct FDOT project experience Familiarity with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project EIT certification or measurable progress toward a PE license Compensation and Benefits $95,000 to $120,000 base salary, plus bonus Medical insurance Retirement plan Paid time off To apply, please submit your resume for consideration.
