We're conducting a confidential search for a growing engineering firm in the Tampa area seeking a proven bridge engineer with 10-15 years of experience to take on significant technical and leadership responsibility within its structures practice. - Lead the design and delivery of complex bridge and transportation structure projects
- Perform and oversee structural analysis, calculations, design, and plans
- Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Review designs and deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers
- Help expand client relationships and the structures practice
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the team with the potential to step into ownership What We're Looking For
- 10-15 years of bridge/structural engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong background in bridge design, analysis, rehabilitation, or transportation structures
- Experience leading projects and/or mentoring engineering staff
- Strong understanding of applicable design standards and specifications
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to operate as both a technical expert and emerging business leader
- FDOT experience highly preferred
