$20-$26 per hour A local manufacturing company in Port Richey, FL is looking for an experienced Polishing Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous polishing experience and be comfortable working with machinery and hand tools. Experience with double-sided polishing is not required, the company will provide training on the specific double-sided polishing equipment and processes. We are looking for someone who has strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, mechanical aptitude, and takes pride in producing high-quality finished products. What You'll Do Perform polishing and finishing work on manufactured products Operate polishing and buffing equipment safely and efficiently Learn to operate double-sided, dual-action, and two-headed polishing equipment Select appropriate abrasives, polishing wheels, pads, and grit sizes for different materials and finishes Inspect finished surfaces for scratches, blemishes, swirls, and uneven textures Make adjustments and perform additional polishing as needed to meet quality standards Read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and finish requirements Perform daily cleaning and basic maintenance of polishing equipment Make routine adjustments to equipment and polishing heads Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety and quality procedures Qualifications Previous polishing experience required Experience with buffing, grinding, metal finishing, or similar finishing processes is a plus Previous experience operating manufacturing or industrial machinery preferred Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized equipment Ability to read and follow technical instructions and specifications Ability to identify imperfections and maintain consistent finish quality Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical work Dependable, safety-conscious, and quality-oriented Training Provided Experience with double-sided polishing is not required. The company will train the right candidate on the operation of the double-sided polishing equipment, including proper setup, abrasive selection, machine operation, and quality standards. #3453
