CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to join our Land Development Team in Duluth, GA. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering innovative site development solutions for commercial, residential, and institutional projects. Working alongside a talented multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute technical expertise, guide project execution, and help create practical, buildable designs that support growth and strengthen communities.
What You'll Do:
Independently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of plans, specifications, and reports for land development projects including site layout, grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure Develop design calculations, technical memorandums, and construction documents under the guidance of senior engineers or technical leadership Identify and resolve technical discrepancies, applying standard engineering practices, local development codes, and permitting requirements Monitor project progress and coordinate design efforts to support schedules, budgets, and constructability Take responsibility for significant portions of land development projects with oversight from senior staff or management, including coordination with survey, environmental, and permitting efforts
What You Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required Minimum of 3 years of civil site design required Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Strong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settings Understanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standards Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office required Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $90,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
