This is a hands-on position responsible for helping ensure the proper operation of the condominium's building and mechanical systems, performing preventive maintenance and completing assigned work orders Key Responsibilities Regularly inspect the property and mechanical equipment, identify potential problems, and take a proactive approach to maintenance. Monitor HVAC, boilers, pumps, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems. Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs. Troubleshoot building and mechanical issues and promptly report significant concerns to the Chief Engineer and/or General Manager. Maintain mechanical rooms, equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment inspections. Assist contractors and service technicians when needed. Respond professionally and courteously to residents and staff. Follow all safety procedures and building policies. Complete assigned work orders accurately and in a timely manner. Requirements Second Class Stationary Engineer License - Air Conditioning and Boilers
REQUIRED
Minimum 3 years of building engineering/maintenance experience Valid Driver's License Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, pumps, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Dependable, organized, and able to work independently Experience in a high-rise condominium, commercial building, hotel, hospital, or similar facility preferred Schedule & Benefits This is a

The successful candidate should not simply wait for a work order or equipment failure. You will be expected to routinely inspect the property and mechanical equipment, identify problems or developing issues, perform appropriate preventive maintenance, and communicate concerns before they become larger problems.
