Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pre-Engineered Metal Building Erector to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient assembly of pre-engineered metal building components on various construction sites. Your expertise will help bring architectural plans to life, ensuring structures are erected accurately, securely, and in accordance with project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your construction skills, and contribute to the creation of durable, high-quality metal buildings. Responsibilities Erect pre-engineered metal building components using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment Interpret and follow construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise assembly Install metal studs, framing, and other structural elements according to blueprints and specifications Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing as needed for foundation work Utilize carpentry skills such as trim carpentry, framing, and dimensional measurements to support structural integrity Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively Conduct quality checks during erection to verify alignment, measurements, and Skills Proven experience in metal building erection and construction site work Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other construction equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions Competent in concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and masonry work Familiarity with welding techniques and steel fabrication processes Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for accurate assembly Experience with framing carpentry including woodworking, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and wood framing Knowledge of construction plans related to metal stud framing and restoration projects Ability to interpret technical schematics related to structural steel or metal components Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Join our team if you're eager to build a career in the construction industry by working on innovative projects that demand precision craftsmanship.
