Radin Consulting, Inc., a transportation planning and design firm, is looking for a full-time entry-level Civil Engineer in Newark, New Jersey. The candidate should have exposure to engineering analysis, development of construction documents (plans and specifications), cost estimating, and scheduling. The position requires office presence in Newark for 5 days a week. The position may require site visits to validate design. Successful completion of EIT and goal of obtaining PE license within 3-5 years Prepare engineering designs and work with other team members for support Strong quantitative skills Demonstrated educational and relevant work experience showing strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Experience in AutoCAD required. Responsibilities Work closely with Senior engineers to support clients with civil engineering design for Transportation projects Support design analysis through application of quantitative and qualitative evaluation techniques. Prepare plans. Perform calculations to support planning and design objectives Inspect project sites to validate design
