Criterion Contracting is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing organization as an entry-level Associate Project Engineer based in Reno, NV. The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launchpad for future leaders at Criterion Contracting. Job responsibilities include:

Conduct safety meetings Create and manage punch lists Support the Quality Control Measures outlined in Criterion Contracting's QA/QC program Prepare RFI's and submittals Determine labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance Conduct quantitative takeoffs for material ordering Support the implementation of the job schedule Coordinate warranties and Operations and Maintenance (O&Ms) Coordinate material with purchase orders and invoicing This position is safety-sensitive. Basic Requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.) A clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying new skills as they are taught Strong customer service skills and relationship-building abilities Must have critical-thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative Works well under pressure and deadlines Undergraduate or associate's degree completed or underway; plus for studying engineering, business, construction management or similar Preferred Requirements OSHA certifications Willing to travel (locally) based on project needs At Criterion Contracting, our employees are our greatest asset.
