Structural PE - Tulsa, OKAbout the JobBrief DescriptionOur client is currently seeking a talented and self-motivated licensed Structural Engineer for their team in Tulsa. As a member of the team, you will gain experience providing structural engineering services on a wide range of projects.
RequirementsQualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural EngineeringA Master's in Structural Engineering is preferredLicensed engineer in the state of Oklahoma or have the ability to get licensed immediately4-10 years of experience in the analysis and design of building structuresDesign experience with structural steel and concrete (wood, masonry and post-tension concrete are a plus)Proficient use of common structural analysis and design software (Bentley RAM software is a plus)ResponsibilitiesAnalysis and Design of framing system and foundationsPerform calculations and create/run engineering models in design softwareSafety and compliance with codesShop drawing review & conduct construction site visitsCoordinate with structural project managers & clientsPreparation/Coordination of contract documentsAbility to integrate structural design into contract documentsSkillsEffective communicationAttention to detailsActive involvement with project coordinationBasic project managementInteract positively with clients on project issuesDemonstrated ability to understand the interaction of project componentsCoordinate with other disciplinesResponsible engineering judgmentDemonstrated flexibility and adaptabilityCompletion of work with accuracy and attention to detail in a timely mannerAble to work independently, or cooperatively and harmoniously with a teamAble to prioritize, manage time, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlinesObtain design information from architectural BIM models (Revit)Basic Revit draftingEmphasize quality and accuracy in their workSummaryAt our client, company culture is rooted in a desire to produce quality projects.
