Disability Insurance Extended Health Care Life Insurance Vision Care Paid Time Off Company Events Employee Assistance Program Voluntary Retirement Savings Plan (RVER) Position Summary Under the supervision of the Sales Director, the technical Sales Representative is responsible for managing incoming customer requests, analyzing technical needs in commercial and industrial ventilation, preparing detailed quotations, and following up on files through to order confirmation. The position acts as a key technical and commercial resource, ensuring rigorous service, accurate cost estimation, and the maintenance of long-term business relationships.Main Responsibilities:
Assist clients and engineers in designing commercial kitchen ventilation systems and industrial/commercial HVAC systems in accordance with NFPA 96 and National Building Codes Present our HVAC products to clients and engineering firms through lunch-and-learns, Zoom meetings, and/or in-person presentations across Canada and the USA Develop new relationships with new clients and engineering firms Follow up on quotations to support sales conversion Oversee the production of ventilation equipment and ensure proper follow-up Perform any other related tasks associated with the role Required Qualifications College diploma (DEC) in Building Mechanics or a university degree in Engineering Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales, estimation, or technical sales in the commercial or industrial ventilation/HVAC sector Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Solid understanding of ventilation systems and installation methods (an asset) Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple files, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Established network within the HVAC industry (a strong asset) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating or ERP software (an asset) Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required, as the role involves regular communication with customers and suppliers across Canada and theUSA Job Type:
