In this role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, ensure compliance with permitting requirements, and deliver innovative design solutions. Your expertise in construction management, technical engineering reports, and client communication will drive project success while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including stormwater management systems, pipelines, water treatment facilities, and wastewater treatment plants. Develop detailed project schedules using project management tools to ensure timely delivery of milestones and overall project completion. Oversee construction management activities, including construction inspection, site supervision, and quality assurance to meet project specifications and safety standards. Prepare and review technical engineering reports, hydrological modeling analyses, geotechnical assessments, and system design documentation. Manage permit acquisition processes during the permitting phase by coordinating with regulatory agencies and ensuring all documentation complies with local codes. Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, and CAD drafting tools to produce accurate schematics, drawings, and design schematics for various civil projects. Collaborate with clients to communicate project scope, progress updates, technical challenges, and solutions effectively throughout the project lifecycle. Lead team efforts in utilizing GIS platforms like ArcGIS and HEC tools for hydrologic analysis, stormwater modeling, and land surveying data integration. Manage project budgets by conducting construction estimating activities and tracking costs to optimize resource allocation. Ensure all phases of construction meet engineering standards through diligent site inspections and adherence to safety protocols. Skills Extensive experience managing civil infrastructure projects with a focus on stormwater systems, pipelines, water/wastewater treatment facilities. Proficiency in project scheduling software and construction management tools to coordinate multiple project phases seamlessly. Strong technical skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, Mathcad, HEC software suites (Hydrologic Engineering Centers), GIS (ArcGIS), Hydrologic analysis tools, and Bluebeam for document review. Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles combined with experience in hydrological modeling and hydraulics system design. Ability to generate comprehensive technical engineering reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations. Skilled in managing permitting processes by liaising with regulatory agencies during the permitting phase involvement. Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams through design engineering phases to construction completion. Excellent client communication skills with a proven track record of managing stakeholder expectations effectively. Familiarity with land surveying techniques and system design considerations for civil infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of construction inspection procedures combined with hands-on construction experience in civil engineering contexts.
