Type:
full-time Insight Global is seeking a Site Engineer for an energy and automation digital solutions company. This role will be supporting the construction of data centers. This entails communicating with project managers, subcontractors, and construction workers. This position will sit remotely for 1 week out of the month, uploading documentation from field, managing deliveries, and entering serial numbers from equipment. This person will be on Data Center construction sites and tasked with learning and becoming the go to engineer for questions on a given drawing package. They will provide engineering support to the Site Supervisor and Project Manager. The first month or 2 will be training with an experienced Site Engineer, completing OSHA courses, and getting oriented. Candidates must be open to travel. They may be assigned to sites not local to Hoffman Estates, IL (if needed).
Must Haves:
Strong interpersonal skills Bachelors of Electrical Engineering Degree Local to the Chicago area (preferred)
