Your way to impact:
The Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the Project Delivery team, ensuring successful project execution from pre-construction through project closeout. This role focuses on document control, scheduling, and fostering collaborative communication between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong construction knowledge, analytical problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining project quality, safety, and schedule adherence in a dynamic team environment.
Your day-to-day:
Manage the project lifecycle from pre-construction to closeout, including schedule development and identifying potential delays. Oversee project documentation (drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals) to ensure the team has current information. Coordinate site activities, monitor conditions, and ensure quality and safety compliance through regular field visits. Facilitate clear communication between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and the internal project team. Support project financial management, including budget tracking, job costing, and procurement. Organize project meetings, document minutes, and track action items to completion. Draft project reports and status updates for leadership and clients. Contribute to project planning and change management, assisting in the implementation of cost-saving measures and efficient workflows.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience. 0-2 years of experience in construction project administration, site supervision, or project engineering. Proficiency in construction management and project software such as PROCORE. Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, technical specifications, and engineering drawings. Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with subcontractors and clients. Familiarity with BlueBeam, AutoCAD, or other industry-standard tools. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This is a full-time position, responsible to the UBG Project Delivery team.
Physical requirements:
Largely a sedentary role, bending or standing as necessary. Must occasionally lift and carry objects up to 10 pounds. Use of hands to operate a computer keyboard and office equipment. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
