The ideal candidate will work on a wide variety of projects such as transportation and infrastructure, buildings, dams and levees, and waterfront development. Essential Responsibilities & Duties This role includes subsurface explorations, construction observation/management, geotechnical and structural design, instrumentation design and interpretation, and technical specification support.
Other responsibilities include:
Performing geotechnical field explorations and testing. Coordinating and interpreting lab test data. Developing spreadsheets and databases. Performing engineering analysis and calculations. Preparing technical memos, reports, and construction specifications. Observing and documenting construction activities. Preparing and modifying drawings using AutoCad. Minimum Qualifications BS in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical is required MS in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred 0 to 3+ years of experience Excellent writing and general communication skills Working knowledge of CAD.
