Job Description

Structural Engineer (PE) - Denver & Northern Colorado, Hybrid I'm Scott Zurn, PE, founder of Level Engineering & Architecture, and I'm looking for the engineer who will lead our structural work in Colorado. This isn't a desk job running calcs for someone else. You'll be in the field, working with clients face to face and owning your projects from start to finish.
The work:
Residential and light commercial projects across the Denver metro, sometimes reaching into Northern Colorado. That means foundation evaluations, load-bearing wall removals, additions and remodels, inspections, repair designs and some tenant improvements. You'll own projects from the first site visit through construction, working directly with homeowners, contractors and architects. Design days are remote; field days are local. Who you'll work with: A diverse group of structural, civil, and forensic engineers and architects across Level's national network. You'll get real mentorship from experienced engineers, and just as much chance to mentor the people around you.

$95-120k base + performance bonus Professional liability insurance paid by Level Health insurance stipend PTO, company holidays, and support for CE and licensing An admin team and support system that assists with proposals, scheduling and invoicing, so you can focus most of your time on the engineering You'll need: PE license (Colorado, or able to get it by comity within 90 days) 5+ years of structural experience, including residential or existing buildings Comfort explaining engineering to a homeowner standing in their basement Willingness to travel around the Denver metro and into

Pay:
$95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
