Job Description The Project Engineer - Civil Construction - Columbia will: Effectively draft memos, reports and documents. Support the project manager and the project team. Work closely with other project engineers. Assist in the field. Write letters to subcontractors and vendors. Communicate project requirements to subcontractors and vendors. Assist in the preparation and negotiation of change orders. Review drawings for changes and clarifications. Meet with members of the Owner's team to administer day-to-day activities such a planning access and preparing work plans and safe work plans. Perform any other duties assigned by management. The Successful Applicant The Project Engineer - Civil Construction - Columbia should possess the following qualifications:Experience :
At least 2 years of relevant experience in civil construction.Technical Proficiency :
Proficient in using construction estimating software and other relevant tools.Communication Skills :
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build interpersonal relationships.Teamwork and Independence :
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Regulatory Knowledge :
