Job Summary:

We are partnering with a company seeking a Building Engineer to support the upkeep and smooth operation of a commercial facility. Our team is looking for a detail-oriented professional who can handle hands-on maintenance tasks, work independently, and contribute to a safe and functional environment for building occupants.

Responsibilities:

Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing systems, including toilets, urinals, sinks, water heaters, piping, and sump pumps. Maintain and repair electrical components such as single-phase breakers, switches, receptacles, lights, and ballasts. Support tenant service requests, general handyman tasks, painting, and the installation or repair of locks, doors, closers, and access control systems. Keep accurate records of completed work while maintaining a clean and safe work environment in indoor and outdoor settings.

Required:

High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of related building maintenance or facilities experience. Electrical aptitude and basic electrical repair capabilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to produce oral and written reports. Fluency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing. Computer literacy for record-keeping and work order systems, with the ability to work independently and stay on task in a customer service-oriented environment.
