Houston, TXPosition OverviewOur client is seeking a Structural Engineer (EIT or PE) to join their engineering team in Houston, TX. This role focuses on delivering high-quality structural and civil engineering solutions while supporting project execution, design coordination, and team collaboration.
The Structural Project Engineer will be responsible for implementing successful engineering strategies, supporting civil/structural infrastructure projects, and ensuring project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and according to client requirements, engineering specifications, and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with leadership capabilities who can manage assigned project responsibilities, coordinate with internal teams, and contribute to engineering proposals and business development initiatives.

Provide accurate project updates, identify challenges, and communicate issues to leadership.
Coordinate effectively with engineering teams and project stakeholders.
Maintain quality assurance standards across assigned engineering projects.
Support design coordination and provide timely feedback to team members.
Apply lessons learned from previous projects to improve engineering processes.
Provide technical recommendations and support process improvements.
Manage engineering calculations, design documentation, project records, and submittals.
Assist with project proposals by providing technical calculations, recommendations, and engineering support.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related engineering discipline.7+ years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in civil/structural engineering consulting.
Proven experience delivering engineering projects on time and within budget.
Strong knowledge of structural and civil engineering principles.
Experience solving engineering challenges across various infrastructure projects, including:

Familiarity with industry codes and standards including:

Experience leading structural engineering teams and managing consulting projects.

Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range:
$80,000 - $105,962 annually
