POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Structural Engineer performs work that involves the design, construction, and execution of structural projects. Engineer works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Constructs and may pursue alternative paths towards a solution. Exercises judgment in selecting method, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results consistent with broadly defined policies and practices.Problem/Task resolution timeframe:
Inclusive of shorter timeframes, but typically six to twelve months or more to resolve. Work is accomplished with limited direction. Determines and develops approaches to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. Frequently inter-organizational and outside customer/vendor contacts. Part of a team who represents the organization. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PER JOB LEVEL
Sr. Structural Engineer IV- Bachelor's Degree/Continuing Education; PE license; ten (10) years experience Sr. Structural Engineer III
- Bachelor's Degree/Continuing Education; PE license; twelve (12) years experience Sr. Structural Engineer II
- Bachelor's Degree/Continuing Education; PE license; fourteen (14) years experience Sr. Structural Engineer I
- Bachelor's Degree/Continuing Education; PE license; fifteen (15) years experience Compensation for this role is determined based on a variety of factors including each candidate's relevant experience, industry background, education, and demonstrated skills.
