We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Structural Engineer to join our thriving team. As a Structural Engineer at AKS, you will be part of a remarkable journey to design and construct diverse structures that stand as testaments to our commitment to excellence and the unique character throughout the Pacific Northwest. What You'll Do Conduct structural analysis and design for a wide range of projects. Generate detailed structural plans and specifications. Perform site visits and inspections to ensure structural integrity. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and architects. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Contribute to the assessment and enhancement of existing structures. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and staff. Tackle complex structural challenges with ingenuity and precision. Who You Are Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred). Professional Engineer (PE) license. Structural Engineer (SE) license in the state of Oregon (or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire). Minimum of 5 years of structural engineering experience. Proficiency in structural analysis and design software. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Impeccable attention to detail and a dedication to delivering exceptional work. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites when necessary. Why AKS?
