Job Description
Yaskawa is searching for a Construction Engineer to provide engineering and project management support for the planning, design, construction, and renovation of company facilities. This position will coordinate with internal stakeholders, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards, applicable codes, and regulatory requirements. Apply engineering principles and sound technical judgment to resolve construction issues, evaluate alternatives, and support successful project execution while minimizing disruptions to company operations. Maintain accurate project documentation, monitor project progress, and communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to the Construction Manager and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have:
Management preferred.- 3-5 years of construction engineering or project management experience.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and construction document management.
- Working knowledge of construction contracts, permitting, and applicable building codes.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling software.
