Job Description

Structural Engineer Brander Engineering, Inc. is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. We are looking for an individual who is ready to grow with the company and thrives in a collaborative environment where engineers, architects, and technical professionals work together to solve complex structural and building performance challenges. Brander is an engineering firm specializing in existing construction, building performance, and structural engineering challenges. A significant portion of our work supports clients in the pulp and paper industry. At Brander Engineering, collaboration is at the core of what we do. Our team of professionals work closely together to evaluate existing conditions, investigate failures, develop practical solutions, and support clients through every phase of a project. Position Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design Evaluate existing structures and develop repair, rehabilitation, and strengthening recommendations Conduct field assessments, investigations, condition evaluations, and construction observations Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documents Perform construction observations and document project progress Collaborate with engineers, architects, technicians, contractors, and clients throughout all phases of project development Contribute ideas and solutions in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality results for clients Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a Structural Emphasis from an ABET-accredited university Minimum of one year of structural engineering experience Strong understanding of structural analysis and building systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Valid driver's license Preferred Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure Structural Engineer (SE) license Experience with commercial, industrial, or existing-building projects Experience with industrial facilities, manufacturing operations, or pulp and paper facilities Experience evaluating existing structures and developing structural modifications within operating facilities Familiarity with equipment support structures, industrial building systems, or maintenance-related projects Experience performing field investigations, condition assessments, or construction observation Why Join Brander?
