As a member of our team, you will work alongside other professionals to develop designs for highways, interchanges, roundabouts, and other roadway features in coordination with a multi-discipline team that also includes Traffic, Utility, and Water Resource Engineering. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree or Certification in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering, or related field. Previous experience or formal training CADD design/drafting (using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ORD). Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills; Ability to participate in project team meetings and interact directly with technical professionals and clients on a frequent basis. Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, etc.). Advantageous Qualifications Thorough understanding of drafting techniques, plan development, quantity takeoffs, and related engineering practices. Previous coursework or project assignments with an emphasis on roadway / highway design. Experience in the development of project deliverables including geometric layouts, design plans, and/or the generation and use of 3-dimensional design models. Knowledge of MnDOT standards and specifications. The listed salary range reflects base pay for candidates with 0-4 years of related experience.
