Position Summary:

The field engineer will report to both the Site Superintendent and Project Manager. Daily responsibilities will include tracking and documenting jobsite activities, preparation of project submittals, utilization of specialized geotechnical and engineering monitoring equipment. Field Engineer must work well and communicate effectively with other members of the project team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil / environmental engineering is preferred. Associate's degree in environmental science, construction management, also acceptable
• 0-3 years of experience
• Understanding of survey and construction layout, GPS experience preferred
• Proficient with general computer programs, AutoCAD, Civil3D, scheduling software demonstrate good interpersonal skills, punctuality, versatility, and have a strong work ethic
• 40 Hour OSHA Hazwoper Training a plus.
• Review, comprehend, and evaluate project plans and specifications
• Daily, weekly, and monthly tracking of materials being utilized onsite
• Daily documentation and tracking of site work performed
• Setup and operate construction monitoring equipment
• Coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
• QAQC inspection of work performed
• Construction Site Layout / Survey
• Maintain project records and drawings
• Perform soil and water sampling for chemical analysis
