Technician Responsibilities Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings using CADD software under direction of senior designers and engineers Collaborate with engineers to support the development of detailed drawings for construction plans from engineering notes, sketches, markups, and other reference materials Ensure that all documentation meets client standards, project specifications, and regulatory standards Provide valuable support on projects across various regions Gain exposure to diverse transportation design standards and practices Support the growth of Transportation CADD team as a company resource for roadway, traffic, drainage and other discipline production efforts Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Vocational school, associate degree, or certificate in CADD technology, drafting, civil engineering technology, or related field, preferred 0 - 2 years of experience with CADD drafting Familiarity with at least one CADD platform (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads) as well as proficiency in MS Office Suite Willingness to learn new CADD platforms as needed Basic understanding of civil design concepts, especially in transportation Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Strong written and verbal communication skills To learn more about B&N's Perks and Culture click here . #LI-BS1
