Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Project Assistant / Drafter to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will support architectural project development through precise drafting, detailed documentation, and effective collaboration with architects, engineers, consultants, and the internal design team. Proficiency in
ARCHICAD
is required. Experience with Lumion and BIM software is a plus. Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes will be instrumental in translating conceptual designs into accurate construction documents and coordinated project drawings. Duties & Responsibilities Develop detailed architectural drawings and construction documents using software such as ARCHICAD, Revit, and SketchUp . Assist with schematic design, design development, construction documents, and detailed construction drawings. Prepare accurate architectural details and drawings that meet project specifications, applicable building codes, and industry standards. Support BIM processes for efficient project coordination, documentation, and clash detection. Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, consultants, contractors, and clients to develop coordinated and accurate project documentation. Assist with architectural systems, interior layouts, and coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building components as required. Conduct building code research and analysis to assist in ensuring compliance with local regulations and applicable standards. Participate in site visits and field measurements and assist with the preparation of accurate as-built drawings. Interpret architectural plans, construction documents, specifications, and technical drawings accurately. Coordinate drawings and information between consultants, contractors, clients, and the internal design team. Assist with drafting engineering-related drawings and interior design layouts while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and clarity. Manage assigned tasks and deadlines while maintaining organization across multiple projects. Work independently while also contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment. Maintain consistent standards of graphic quality, accuracy, and organization throughout all project documentation. Qualifications & Experience 3+ years of architectural drafting or architectural project experience , preferably in South Florida. Proven proficiency in
ARCHICAD
is required. Experience with Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and/or other BIM software is a plus . Strong design sense with exceptional attention to detail. Experience with residential architecture , preferably high-end or luxury residential projects. Experience preparing detailed architectural construction documents. Knowledge of construction detailing, documentation standards, and building code compliance. Familiarity with BIM workflows, building systems, project coordination, and clash detection. Experience with architectural drafting, schematic design development, and construction documentation. Ability to accurately interpret architectural plans, construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Strong graphic and presentation skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling visual presentations and schematics. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members. Ability to take ownership of assigned projects, tasks, and deadlines. Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable working through all phases of an architectural project , from schematic design through construction administration. Construction experience or familiarity with construction processes, materials, and methods is strongly preferred. Pay:
$25.00 - $31.80 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
