Job Description

Patricia Borja Interiors is a full-service interior design studio known for curating thoughtful, elevated spaces that blend creativity with functionality. We're growing and looking for a detail-oriented CAD/Design Assistant to support our design team with drafting, documentation, and day-to-day project tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and excited to gain hands-on experience across a range of high-end residential projects. Role Overview This role supports the design team across the full lifecycle of a project from CAD drafting and design documentation to day-to-day coordination. You'll work closely with our designers and project leads to keep drawings accurate, projects organized, and details moving forward. You'll be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who takes pride in getting the details right and is eager to grow within a collaborative studio. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed floor plans, elevations, and perspective drawings and renderings for client presentations. Support the design team with light kitchen and bathroom design work that balances functionality and aesthetics. Develop 3D renderings that clearly and attractively communicate design concepts to clients. Maintain accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all drawing sets and technical documentation. Manage multiple drafting and rendering projects simultaneously to meet deadlines. Communicate with the design team to ensure drawings and renderings accurately reflect design intent. Take on additional projects and tasks to support the design team as needed. Qualifications 2-3 years of interior design experience , preferably in residential or boutique design studios. Degree in Interior Design is a must. Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Photoshop), and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and rendering software (e.g., SketchUp or Revit). Strong knowledge of construction processes, cabinetry, and the technical aspects of kitchen and bath design. Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail. Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate with team.
